Houston Independent School District
HISD hired us to help keep their ambitious facilities-to-standards initiative on track and position the district to win a second bond election in four years. We delivered with a comprehensive communications strategy aimed at educating employees and parents, along with business, civic and political leaders, about the bond program’s success. We enlisted the community’s support for the district’s construction projects and facility needs by way of a strong visual program identity, a memorable logo and a consistent message. We orchestrated public involvement, helped the district build more than 30 new schools in diverse neighborhoods and implemented strategies to maintain the support throughout the process. HISD gained approval for a second bond initiative with an unprecedented 66% of the vote, and we were unanimously chosen again to be a part of their winning team.
